Day 1

Arrival in Phuentsholing: Border Town Exploration

Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport or railway station, our representative greets you and drives to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. After check-in, visit the serene Zangto Pelri Lhakhang and the adjacent park. The evening is free to explore the bustling border town, known for its vibrant markets and fusion of Indian and Bhutanese cultures. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Phuentsholing to Thimphu: Scenic Drive & Cultural Stops

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at the Karbandi Temple, Sangay Migyur Ling Lhakhang, and the towering Milarepa statue—the tallest structure in Bhutan. Witness the cascading Wankha Waterfalls and pause at Chojun for stunning photo opportunities. Arrive in Thimphu and spend the evening at leisure, exploring local shops or cafes. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3

Thimphu: Spiritual & Cultural Highlights

After breakfast, visit the Memorial Chorten, built in 1974 in memory of the third king, followed by a stop at Devi Panchayan Mandir. Continue to the colossal Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the world's largest Buddha rupas. Explore Simply Bhutan, a living museum and photo studio, then walk through the historic Tashichho Dzong, a fortress built in 1641 along the Wang Chhu River. End the day at the authentic craft street for souvenirs. Evening free. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4

Thimphu to Punakha: Himalayan Passes & River Fortress

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochu-la Pass at 3,088 meters. On a clear day, enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. Visit the Druk Wangyal Chorten and take a nature walk amid rhododendron forests. En route, stop at Sangchen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, a Buddhist college and meditation center. Upon arrival, explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong, situated between the male and female rivers. Walk across one of Bhutan's longest suspension bridges. Optional river rafting is available at extra cost. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 5

Punakha to Paro: Temples, Parks & Fortresses

After breakfast, drive to Paro with stops along the way. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of the divine madman, after a short hike from Lobesa. Continue to Lhampheri Recreational Park and enjoy the Airport Bird’s Eye View point and riverside. Upon arrival in Paro, explore Paro Dzong, a fortress built in 1646. Evenings are free for strolling around Paro town, known for its traditional architecture and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6

Paro: Tiger's Nest Monastery Trek & National Museum

After breakfast, drive to the trailhead for the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a sheer cliff 900 meters above the valley. Enjoy a moderate hike through pine forests, with breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. After descending, have lunch in town. Visit the National Museum (Ta-Dzong), housing ancient artifacts, thangkas, and religious relics. Evenings free for exploring Paro. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 7

Paro: At Leisure & Optional Exploration

Enjoy a relaxed day in Paro. Optionally, visit Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress with stunning views of Mount Jomolhari, or explore local farmhouses and traditional crafts.
