Itinerary
3 Days / 2 NightsDelhi to Agra: Express Drive & Hotel Check-in
Upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, your personal representative from Mother India Tour Travels greets you and assists with your transfer. You then embark on a scenic drive to Agra, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours along the Yamuna Expressway. On reaching Agra, check into your hotel and relax after the drive. The evening is free to explore the local markets or simply unwind. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Agra: Sunrise Taj Mahal & Agra Fort
After breakfast, you set out for a guided tour of Agra’s crown jewels. First, witness the breathtaking Taj Mahal at sunrise, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next, visit the formidable Agra Fort, another UNESCO site, where you can explore the Diwan-i-Am, Khas Mahal, and the beautifulMusamman Burj. After lunch, begin your drive back to Delhi, arriving in the evening. Check into your Delhi hotel and overnight stay.
Delhi: Mughal & Colonial Heritage Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of Delhi’s historic landmarks. Start with Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, then pass by the Red Fort, a symbol of Mughal power. Continue to India Gate, the war memorial, and drive past the President's House (Rashtrapati Bhavan). Visit Humayun's Tomb, a stunning precursor to the Taj Mahal, and end at Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. After the tour, you are transferred to Delhi airport or railway station for your departure.
