Itinerary
3 Days / 2 NightsJammu to Katra: Arrival and Sacred Drive
Your pilgrimage begins with a warm welcome at Jammu Railway Station or Airport by our representative. We then drive the scenic 50 kilometers to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi yatra, taking approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Katra, check into your hotel and unwind. The evening is at leisure before enjoying a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the trek ahead.
Katra: Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine
After an early breakfast, start your 15-kilometer trek or choose a horse ride to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. The path winds through picturesque hills, with stops at Adhkuwari and other landmarks. Upon reaching the sanctum sanctorum at 5,200 feet, you experience the divine darshan of the three pindies representing the goddess. After offering prayers, descend back to Katra, where dinner and overnight stay at the hotel await.
Katra to Jammu: Departure with Blessings
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel in Katra before checking out. We then drive back to Jammu Railway Station or Airport (50 km, 2 hours) for your onward journey. The tour concludes with sweet memories and the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, leaving you spiritually rejuvenated.
