Itinerary
4 Days / 3 NightsSrinagar: Mughal Gardens & Lake City Exploration
Your journey begins upon arrival at Srinagar Airport. You are welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Later, you proceed for a city tour visiting the ancient Shankaracharya Temple perched atop the highest hill, offering panoramic views of Dal Lake. Next, you explore the magnificent Mughal Gardens — Chashmashahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh — each a terraced paradise with cascading fountains. You also visit the revered Hazratbal Dargah on the shores of Dal Lake. Overnight stay at your hotel in Srinagar.
Srinagar to Pahalgam: Valley of Shepherds & Scenic Excursion
After breakfast, you drive to Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds', located 96 km from Srinagar. En route, you stop at the saffron fields of Pampore, the 1100-year-old Awantipura ruins dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and the sacred Mattan Temple. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, you have the option to enjoy a pony ride through pine forests and visit the lush meadows of Baisaran, known as Mini-Switzerland. You can also explore picturesque spots like Aru, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari at your own cost. In the evening, you return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
Srinagar to Gulmarg: Meadow of Flowers & Gondola Ride
After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg, the 'Meadow of Flowers', situated at 2,440 meters above sea level. This hill station boasts the world's highest golf course and is famous for winter sports. Upon arrival, you visit the Jai Jai Shiv Shankar Temple and then have the opportunity to experience the thrilling Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Kongdori and further to Apharwat Peak, at your own cost. In the evening, you return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
Srinagar: Departure with Fond Memories
After a final breakfast in Srinagar, you are transferred to Srinagar Airport for your departure, carrying with you the serene beauty of Kashmir's valleys, gardens, and snow-capped peaks. Your tour concludes with cherished memories of the Himalayan paradise.
