Itinerary
3 Days / 2 NightsCochin to Munnar: Waterfalls, Tea Gardens & Wildlife
Upon arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you drive 130 km to Munnar, a scenic 5-hour journey through winding roads. En route, you stop at Valparai and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, surrounded by lush tea plantations. After checking in at your hotel, you visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, South India's mountain goat. You also explore the Tea Museum, the only one of its kind, nestled amid sprawling tea gardens.
Munnar: Scenic Dams, Viewpoints & Gardens
After breakfast, you set out for a full day of sightseeing around Munnar. You visit Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy boating against a backdrop of rolling hills, followed by the famous Echo Point, where sounds echo across the valley. You also explore Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point offering panoramic vistas, and Blossom Park with its vibrant floral displays. The evening is free for shopping at local markets or relaxing at your hotel.
Munnar to Cochin: Departure Drive
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, you check out and begin the 130 km drive back to Cochin. The 5-hour journey retraces the lush landscapes of tea estates and waterfalls. You are dropped at Cochin airport or railway station, concluding your tour with memories of Munnar's verdant hills.
