Itinerary
4 Days / 3 NightsCochin to Munnar: Tea Country & Waterfall En Route
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or railway station, you are greeted and driven to Munnar (130 km, approx. 5 hours). The scenic route passes through Valparai and the Cheeyappara Waterfalls, where you stop for photos amidst lush tea plantations. Arriving in Munnar by afternoon, check into your hotel. Later, visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and explore the Tea Museum surrounded by rolling tea gardens. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Munnar: Lakes, Dams & Panoramic Viewpoints
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy the serene reservoir, then head to Echo Point for its natural echo phenomenon. Continue to Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point offering panoramic valley views, and Blossom Park with its manicured gardens. Spend the evening shopping for spices and tea at local markets. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Munnar to Alleppey: Overnight Houseboat Cruise
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Alleppey (65 km, approx. 2 hours). Around noon, board your private deluxe houseboat and begin cruising the famous Kerala backwaters. As you glide past paddy fields, coconut groves, and village settlements, enjoy freshly prepared Kerala meals onboard. The houseboat features fully furnished bedrooms and a kitchen. Drift along the tranquil canals, witness local life, and anchor for the night. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are included.
Alleppey to Cochin: Departure with Coastal Stops
After a leisurely breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Cochin (65 km, approx. 2 hours). If time permits, visit Lulu Mall for shopping or take a short walk along Cochin Beach. You are then transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, marking the end of this memorable Kerala tour.
