Itinerary
5 Days / 4 NightsKathmandu: Arrival & Spiritual Evening at Pashupatinath
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, your representative escorts you to a pre-booked hotel. In the evening, you visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of Hinduism's holiest shrines, and the massive Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO site. You join the evening sandhya aarti ceremony at Pashupatinath, a mesmerizing ritual of lamps and chants along the Bagmati River. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu: Durbar Square & Buddhist Shrines Guided Tour
After breakfast, you enjoy a half-day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic plaza of palaces and temples, and Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), offering panoramic valley views. In the afternoon, you revisit Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple to delve deeper into their spiritual significance. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kathmandu to Nagarkot: Bhaktapur Stopover & Himalayan Views
You drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot, a hill station famous for Himalayan panoramas. En route, you stop at the ancient Newari town of Bhaktapur, a well-preserved medieval city with its Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, and pottery square. Arriving in Nagarkot, you check into a resort and enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere. Overnight stay at the resort.
Nagarkot to Kathmandu: Sunrise & Leisure Day
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest on clear days, from Nagarkot's viewpoint. After the magnificent panorama, you drive back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for shopping in Thamel or personal activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kathmandu: Everest Mountain Flight & Departure
In the morning, you have the option to take an Everest Mountain Flight for an unforgettable aerial view of the world's highest peaks. After the flight or free time, you are transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure, or you may join another program with Mother India Travels. Depart with memories of Nepal's Himalayan grandeur.
