6 Days / 5 NightsKathmandu: Arrival and Thamel Exploration
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a warm welcome awaits you. You are transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, step out to explore the vibrant Thamel district, a lively hub of shops, cafes, and local culture. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu: UNESCO Heritage Sites Tour
Today is dedicated to Kathmandu's rich cultural heritage. Begin with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and the nearby Gujeshowri Temple. Proceed to the colossal Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest stupas in the world. In the afternoon, ascend to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, offering panoramic valley views. Conclude the day at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic palace square showcasing exquisite Nepalese architecture.
Nagarkot Sunrise and Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana
Early morning you drive to Nagarkot to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest on clear days. After the sunrise, return to Kathmandu for breakfast. Then embark on a scenic drive to Manakamana Temple, accessible via an exhilarating cable car ride with stunning mountain views. After seeking blessings, continue your journey to Pokhara. Pokhara: Lakes, Caves, and Peace Pagoda
Start your day with a tranquil boat ride on Phewa Lake, reflecting the majestic Annapurna range. Visit the Tal Barahi Temple situated on an island in the lake. Next, explore the roaring Davis Falls and the adjacent Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Pokhara to Kathmandu: Return Journey and Leisure
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu through scenic hills and countryside. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. You may choose to do last-minute shopping in Thamel or visit the tranquil Garden of Dreams, a neo-classical garden in the heart of the city. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu: Departure
