Itinerary
10 Days / 9 NightsDelhi: Mughal Heritage & Modern Landmarks
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, our company representative assists you and transfers you to the hotel. After refreshments, proceed for a guided tour visiting the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and symbol of Mughal power. Explore Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, and drive past India Gate, the President's House, and the lotus-shaped Baháʼí House of Worship (Lotus Temple). Overnight stay in Delhi.
Delhi to Jaipur: Journey to the Pink City
After breakfast, depart for Jaipur, the Pink City famed for its royal palaces and vibrant bazaars. The drive of about 260 km takes approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local markets or simply relax in the hotel.
Jaipur: Amber Fort & City Palace Exploration
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you to the magnificent Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop, where you can either climb or enjoy an elephant ride. Visit the serene Jal Mahal (Water Palace) floating in Man Sagar Lake, then the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its honeycomb façade. Continue to the City Palace complex and Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is at leisure for shopping or rest.
Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, drive towards Agra, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital and UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its well-preserved palaces, courtyards, and the Buland Darwaza. Continue to Agra, check into the hotel, and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Agra: Taj Mahal & Agra Fort at Dawn
Early morning guided tour to the Taj Mahal, a breathtaking marble mausoleum and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, best seen at sunrise. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, explore the massive Agra Fort, another UNESCO site filled with palaces and mosques. The rest of the day is free for personal exploration or optional visits to local crafts and marble inlay workshops.
Agra to Khajuraho via Orchha: Temple Town Detour
After breakfast, depart for Khajuraho, a journey of about 410 km (6-7 hours). En route, stop at Orchha, a historic town known for its stunning temples and cenotaphs. Visit the Chaturbhuj Temple and the Jahangir Mahal. Continue to Khajuraho, check into the hotel, and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Khajuraho: Western & Jain Temples Tour
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of the Khajuraho temples, famous for their intricate erotic sculptures and architectural brilliance. Explore the Western group of temples, including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, and the Jain temples within the same complex. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the local village or relax.
Khajuraho to Varanasi: Sacred City Bound
After breakfast, drive to Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India, covering about 400 km (8-9 hours). Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The evening is free for a leisurely walk along the ghats or to witness the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat (optional). Overnight in Varanasi.
Varanasi: Ganges Boat Ride & Temple Circuit
Wake up early for a memorable boat ride on the holy River Ganges to see the bathing ghats and the Manikarnika cremation site, followed by a return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, a guided tour covers the Kashi Vishwanath Temple (one of the twelve Jyotirlingas), Bharat Mata Temple, and a visit to Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Varanasi: Departure from the Holy City
After breakfast at the hotel, you are transferred to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station to board your flight or train for your onward journey. End of tour services.
