Itinerary
1 Days / 0 NightsArrival in Gangtok via Bagdogra Airport
After arriving at Bagdogra Airport, you transfer to Gangtok (120 km, 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, complete check-in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Gangtok.
Gangtok Sightseeing – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), a glacial wonder on the way to Nathu La Pass. Next, visit Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to soldier Harbhajan Singh. Return to Gangtok; evening free for shopping. Optional add-on: Nathula Pass (Indian nationals only).
Gangtok Half-Day Tour & Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Flower Show, Dro-dul Chorten, and Institute of Tibetology. Then drive to Darjeeling (115 km, 4 hours). On arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling Sightseeing – Tiger Hill, Tea Gardens, and Monasteries
Early morning, depart for Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Kanchenjunga. After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and a tea garden to see tea plucking. Continue to Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Japanese Temple, and Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center. Afternoon at leisure for shopping.
Departure from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport (80 km, 3 hours) for your onward flight.
