Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok (approx. 4 hours). After check-in, visit the bustling MG Marg for a leisurely stroll and shop for local handicrafts. Later, explore the revered Enchey Monastery and the ornate Do-drul Chorten stupa. Overnight in Gangtok.
Gangtok to Darjeeling: Scenic Drive & Mall Road
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (approx. 4 hours), enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and head to the iconic Mall Road and Chowrasta, where you can soak in the colonial charm. Visit the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track offering stunning vistas, and the War Memorial. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling to Pelling: Sunrise & Monastery Trail
Pre-dawn start for a sunrise visit to Tiger Hill (weather permitting) to witness the golden glow on Mount Kanchenjunga. Return to Darjeeling for breakfast, then visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Peace Pagoda. Drive to Pelling (approx. 4 hours), nestled in West Sikkim. Evening at leisure, taking in views of the Kanchenjunga range. Overnight in Pelling.
Pelling: Spirituality & Departure
Begin your day with a visit to the 17th-century Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest and most sacred. Then drive to the emerald Khecheopalri Lake, a holy site surrounded by forest. After lunch, transfer back to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station (approx. 5 hours) for your departure, carrying memories of the Himalayas.
