Itinerary
7 Days / 6 NightsPelling: Arrival and Leisure Evening
Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, where our representative greets you. We then drive to Pelling (115 km, approx. 5 hours), a picturesque hill station. Check into the hotel and freshen up. The evening is free for relaxation, allowing you to soak in the tranquil mountain atmosphere. Rest of the day at leisure.
Pelling: Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, we set out for a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling's highlights. Visit the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, known for its floating leaves, and the stunning Kanchanjunga Falls and Rimbi Falls. Explore the Rock Garden, the ancient Pemayangtsey Monastery, and the ruins of Rabdentcy Palace. Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening with family or friends. Rest of the day at leisure.
Pelling to Gangtok: Scenic Drive and Evening at Leisure
After breakfast, we depart for Gangtok (130 km, approx. 5 hours), the capital of Sikkim. The drive offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and lush valleys. Check into the hotel and freshen up. The evening is free for personal exploration or simply relaxing at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Gangtok: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion
After breakfast, we embark on a full-day excursion to three iconic sites. Drive through winding roads to Tsomgo Lake at 12,400 ft, where you can enjoy a yak ride and take photos of the pristine lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Continue to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine. Also visit Nathula Pass (if open), the historic border pass. Return to Gangtok in the evening.
Gangtok to Darjeeling: Transfer and Mall Road Stroll
After breakfast, we transfer to Darjeeling, enjoying the scenic beauty of the mountain road. Check into the hotel and refresh. The evening is free to explore Darjeeling Mall Road, famous for its vibrant shops, cafes, and the colonial-era architecture. You can also visit the nearby Chowrasta. Rest of the day at leisure.
Darjeeling: Tiger Hill Sunrise and Full-Day Sightseeing
Wake up early (around 4 am) and drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. On the way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing including Himalayan Zoological Park, Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, and a tea estate. Evening free for leisure.
Darjeeling: Departure from Bagdogra/NJP
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Bid farewell to the hills with cherished memories and a desire to return. Return home with happy memories.
