Itinerary
6 Days / 5 NightsBangalore to Mysore: Garden City to Palace City
Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, your representative greets you and transfers you to Mysore, a 3-hour drive through the Karnataka countryside. After checking into your hotel, you visit the musical Brindavan Gardens, illuminated with fountains and floral symmetry. Return to the hotel for a welcome drink, dinner, and overnight stay.
Mysore to Ooty: Heritage & Hills
After breakfast, you check out and embark on a sightseeing tour of Mysore. Climb the Chamundi Hills to the temple and Nandi bull, then visit the Bull Temple. The highlight is the magnificent Mysore Palace, with its Indo-Saracenic architecture. You then drive to Ooty, stopping en route at Pykara Lake for its breathtaking views. Arrive in Ooty, check in, enjoy dinner, and retire for the night.
Ooty: Queen of Hill Stations
Your day begins with a visit to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris, offering panoramic vistas. Next, explore the Botanical Gardens, home to a 20-million-year-old fossil tree. Stroll through Charing Cross for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the region's tea heritage, followed by a relaxing boat ride on Ooty Lake. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Ooty to Kodaikanal via Coonoor: Toy Train & Scenic Drive
After breakfast, check out and head to Coonoor, where you can opt for the iconic Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train ride. Upon arrival, visit Sim's Park, Dolphin's Nose, and Lamb's Rock for stunning views. Continue your drive to Kodaikanal, a mist-enshrouded hill station.
