Itinerary
5 Days / 4 NightsDelhi to Haridwar: Arrival & Sacred Ganga Aarti
Upon arrival at Delhi, you are met by our representative and driven to Haridwar (210 km, ~5 hours), the 'Gateway to God' and one of Hinduism's holiest cities. In the evening, you witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where priests perform rituals with fire and chanting as the river flows by. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Haridwar to Mussoorie via Rishikesh: Spiritual Bridges & Scenic Drive
After breakfast, you drive towards Mussoorie, stopping en route at Rishikesh to explore the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula – iconic suspension bridges over the Ganges. You also visit old temples in this heritage city before continuing the journey. The drive takes you through the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges, offering breathtaking Himalayan views. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Mussoorie.
Mussoorie: Colonial Charm & Scenic Sightseeing
After breakfast, you explore Mussoorie's key attractions including the lively Kempty Falls, where you can enjoy the waterfall and views, serene Mussoorie Lake, and the historic Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. Today, you take an excursion to Dhanaulti (24 km from Mussoorie), a tranquil hill station in the Garhwal hills known for its misty meadows and deodar forests. You also visit the ancient Mata Surkanda Devi Temple, perched at an altitude of 2,700 meters, offering panoramic vistas of the Himalayas. In the evening, return to Mussoorie for dinner and overnight stay.
Mussoorie to Delhi: Return Journey & Departure
After breakfast, you drive back to Delhi (290 km, ~7 hours) via the scenic Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival, you are dropped at Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
